Policy Café has organized another policy study circle on the policy framework “ICT, Education and Employment” on 18th February 2013, at United International University (UIU) premises. This time around 50 students from different private universities joined in the circle. Policy Café aims to bring out the youth voices from every nook and corner of the country. To do so Policy Café organizes study circle with different groups of youth and culminate all the voices in an accumulate manner preceding the main event of Policy Café which will be held on 25th of February (10am to 1pm) at Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium, Agargaon, Dhaka.
However, like the previous study circle in the opening session of this study circle the program coordinator delivered a short briefing on the ins and outs of the National Education Policy 2010, ICT in Education Master Plan (2012-2021), and National ICT Policy 2012 (proposed). After that the floor was left for the students to voice their assessments on the policy framework. Many among the participants expressed their understandings and concerns on the policy framework. They promptly expressed their experiences and understandings regarding the present situation of Education system, technological advancement and job market. In a nutshell, this was a fantastic interactive session based on the reciprocal sharing of knowledge & understanding about policy framework.
