Let the adolescents grow up in the spirit

7th March is a memorable day in our national life. A program consisting of visiting the Bangbandhu Memorial Museum and drawing competition was organized by Centre for Research & Information (CRI) and Bangabandhu Memorial Trust last Friday to stimulate the spirit of 7th March in the minds of the adolescents. Prominent cultural persons of Bangladesh also took part in this program along with the teen- agers. Poet Md. Nurul Huda, Nirmolendu Goon and Aslam Saani were among them. They visited the museum along with the children and narrated different histories of liberation war in front of the adolescents. They also talked about different aspects from the life of Bangabandhu.

After the museum visit, a drawing competition was held at the museum premise. Adjudicators of this competition were Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, Tarun Ghosh and Ismat Khanam. The judges rewarded ten best artists after a competition of an hour.
Nasiruddin Iusuf Bacchu, Minister of ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak, VC of the University of Dhaka A A S M Arefin Siddik, Poet Asad Chowdhury, Trana Halim, Alam Talukder were among the others who were present at the program.
