As a part of the collaboration between CRI-Young Bangla and Microsoft Bangladesh, on 6 August, 10 women from different corners of the country have been crowned with Microsoft brand ambassadorship.Through hosting a meet up event, Microsoft recognizes the first entrepreneur batch of Windows Women. These 10 self-empowered women were nominated by CRI from Young Bangla Network. All of them have their own budding business ideas and by dint of technological touch they want to strengthen and enlarge their initiatives.
This ambassadorship is the gateway to the world of technologies and other leveraging facilities needed for upscale the endeavours of these youth entrepreneurs. By joining the Windows Women team, they will become not only a Microsoft Brand Ambassador but they are also a part of the apps community and will receive free training on Microsoft. They will also be able to get funding access and register for Microsoft competitions worldwide.

Young Bangla believes that all the youth-led great initiatives would be greater and more comprehensive if a strategic network can be established. To accelerate all-encompassing development to achieve Vision 2021 and for building a sustainable Bangladesh scaling up of the great works done by the youth is essential. Realizing the facts Young Bangla approached to tech giant Microsoft for a partnership. The Managing Director of Microsoft BD, Sonia Bashir Kabir, was very positive to do something solid for the youth achievers of the country and make them IT-enabled by making a partnership with Young Bangla. As a reflection to this process Microsoft selects 10 outstanding women as its Brand Ambassadors in Bangladesh under Windows Women programme. There are more programmes in the pipeline of Microsoft like YouthSpark, BizSpark, DreamSpark and many more to engage and leverage more youth in coming days.
