Part 1 of Mujib (English Version) to be unveiled at Dhaka Lit Fest 2017

Centre for Research and Information, CRI is going to take part at Dhaka Lit Fest 2017 from 16 to 18th November where the English version of Graphic Novel ‘Mujib’ will be unveiled.

‘Mujib’ Graphic Novel is first of its kind in Bangladesh, brought the story of struggle and achievements based on the ‘Unfinished Memoirs’ of The Father of the Nation Bangabandu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Through back to March 2015, after the series of Bangla versions of publications of ‘Mujib’ Graphic Novel 1, 2 and 3 of the 12 part graphic series of CRI, English version is going to be available as a consequence.

The first part presents the background against which Bangabandhu began writing his autobiography, the stories of his birth, childhood, getting a pair of spectacles when still young, and his first jail term.

Both the Bangla versions of ‘Mujib’ along with the English one will be available for the buyers at the designated corner of Mujib Graphic Novel stall of Bangla Academy premise at Dhaka Lit Fest 2017.

Adressing the occasion, Radwan Mujib Siddiq, respected Trustee of CRI along with the other discussants Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy, Luke Neima and Jerry Pinto is going the to attend a parallal discussion session called “Mujib: Taking History to the Next Generation” from 1:45 to 2:45 pm at the Abul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium of Bangla Academy.
