8th episode of graphic novel series ‘Mujib’ to be launched on 7th February, 2021

CRI will launch the 8th episode of its signature graphic novel series ‘Mujib’ on 7th February, 2021 at 7 pm. Popular writer and Professor Muhammed Zafar Iqbal will attend the virtual launching.  Promising creative minds like artist and director Wahid Ibn Reza, singer Karishma Sanu Sovvota and cartoonist Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy will join as discussants while artist Shibu kumer Shill will moderate the event. The event can be viewed live on CRI Facebook page.  (more…)

30 youth-led organizations win Joy Bangla Youth Award 2020

Thirty youth-led organizations have won the Joy Bangla Youth Award 2020 for their contribution to the country and society. Sajeeb Wazed, the prime minister’s ICT adviser and CRI chairperson announced the winners at a virtual program on November 17, 2020.The winners include 16 under social inclusion category and 14 under social development. Earlier, 47 organizations were nominated for the final from over 600 applicants. This was the fourth edition of the award given by CRI’s youth platform Young Bangla. (more…)

CRI-Young Bangla joins hand with UNDP, NHRC to campaign for women’s safety

Young Bangla, the youth platform of CRI, in collaboration with UNDP, Bangladesh and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) launched ‘Women’s Safety in Public Places (WSPP) Campaign’ on October 14, 2020 through a webinar. Earlier, in March 2020, the Young Bangla and Human Rights Program of UNDP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote women’s safety in public places. (more…)
